The Quebec Adaptative Behavior Scale (QABS) is a
questionnaire that permits the assessment of adaptive behaviors of individuals
presenting intellectual limitations. The QABS assessment is valid for persons
aged 3 years and older.
This instrument allows for criterion classification of the individual's level of functioning pertaining to adaptive behaviors. The questionnaire may be completed by educators, teachers, or family members. An interviewer is usually not required for professional personnel.
